Connect Karmo to Claude.

Add Karmo as a remote custom connector in Claude, then authorize your existing Karmo account. Complete your Karmo content profile and activate a paid plan before asking Claude to process a video.

Add the remote connector

Use the server URL https://api.trykarmo.com/mcp. This is a web connector reached from Anthropic’s infrastructure, so the deployed endpoint must be publicly accessible.

  1. On an individual account with custom connectors enabled, open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Select +, then Add custom connector. Enter Karmo and the remote MCP URL.
  3. Leave optional OAuth Client ID and secret fields blank to use Karmo’s automatic client registration.
  4. Add the connector, choose Connect, and sign in to Karmo. Review the access request and approve it.
  5. In a conversation, open the + menu, choose Connectors and enable Karmo.

For Team and Enterprise, an owner first adds the web connector under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Each member then authenticates separately. See Claude’s official custom connector instructions.

Try analysis, then a follow-up

Ask “Analyze this TikTok and identify its opening promise: [URL].” Then ask Claude to retrieve the transcript using the returned analysis ID. Ask for a rewrite only after giving it a useful subject and audience.

A new video analysis includes its transcript and first rewrite for 11 Karmo credits. Reading a saved transcript adds no charge. Each later script revision costs 1 credit. An active paid plan is required; failed processing is refunded. See current plans.

A URL request for a transcript still starts the full paid analysis. Reuse an existing identifier when you only need to read a result already in your account.

Troubleshooting and disconnecting

If Claude cannot connect, check the exact endpoint and whether your organization permits custom connectors. If authorization loops, remove the connection, re-add it using automatic OAuth registration and sign in again.

A download failure usually means the source is restricted or unavailable to Karmo. It is not a reason to send cookies or a social-account password. For a plan error, inspect your Karmo subscription. To stop using the connector, remove it in Claude and revoke its grant in Karmo’s connection settings.
