Karmo legal
Privacy policy
Updated September 27, 2026
1. What we collect
We collect your email and authentication information, your creator profile, Instagram and TikTok URLs, source transcripts, generated analysis, scripts, chat messages, credit usage, and subscription events needed to operate Karmo.
2. How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, personalize outputs, process payments, enforce credit balances, provide support, secure the service, and improve reliability.
3. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure, content-processing, and payment providers to operate Karmo. These providers receive only the data needed for their function and maintain their own policies.
4. Your choices
You can update your creator profile in Karmo and request account or data deletion by contacting support. We retain billing records and security logs where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
MCP connections
When you authorize an assistant, it can send video URLs, analysis identifiers and rewrite instructions to Karmo on your behalf. We verify the authorization, enforce your plan and credits, and return requested results to that assistant. Transcripts and analyses remain attached to your account; temporary source media is processed by Gemini and is not kept as a video library. Your assistant provider handles returned content under its own policies. Revoke access in Karmo’s connected-assistant settings. We do not send source URLs or transcript text in product analytics events.
5. Security
We use authenticated requests, row-level access controls, signed payment webhooks, server-side secrets, and bounded media processing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your account and report concerns promptly.
